וְלִיהֽוֹנָתָן֙ בֶּן־שָׁא֔וּל בֵּ֖ן נְכֵ֣ה רַגְלָ֑יִם בֶּן־חָמֵ֣שׁ שָׁנִ֣ים הָיָ֡ה בְּבֹ֣א שְׁמֻעַת֩ שָׁא֨וּל וִיהֽוֹנָתָ֜ן מִֽיִּזְרְעֶ֗אל וַתִּשָּׂאֵ֤הוּ אֹֽמַנְתּוֹ֙ וַתָּנֹ֔ס וַיְהִ֞י בְּחָפְזָ֥הּ לָנ֛וּס וַיִּפֹּ֥ל וַיִּפָּסֵ֖חַ וּשְׁמ֥וֹ מְפִיבֹֽשֶׁת׃
Nun Jonathan, Saul's Sohn hatte einen Sohn, der lahm von seinen Füßen war. Er war fünf Jahre alt, als die Nachricht von Saul und Jonathan aus Jesreel kam, und seine Krankenschwester nahm ihn auf und floh; und es begab sich, als sie sich beeilte zu fliehen, dass er fiel und lahm wurde. Und sein Name war Mephibosheth.
